Make-a-Wish

Zion NJHS members (National Junior Honor Society) are excited and honored to announce they have adopted a wish with Make-A-Wish Foundation. Colorado’s Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted the wishes of Colorado children with life threatening medical conditions for the last 30 years. No eligible wish has ever been refused nor not granted!

Our wish recipient is a 3 year old boy named Kingsley. Kinglsey is suffering from Encephalopathy; a degenerative brain disease.

We are still accepting donations.

• Blue Star = $1.00 donation
• Silver Star = $25-49 donation
• Gold Star = $50 + donation
• Make-A-Wish bracelet = $2 donation

Our goal is $1,500, which we already exceeded by $1,000!  Please help us reach our new goal of $3,000.  100% of all donations go towards Kingsley’s wish and are tax deductable.

Coffee and Canvas

Would you like to create a beautiful painting for yourself or your mom? Zion is offering “Coffee and Canvas” on Saturday, May 12th from 9am to Noon.

Marilyn Fingerlin will help you create a one of a kind painting. We will offer delicious refreshments and you will be able to take your work of art home with you that day. The cost is $30.00 and if you are a student you must be in 5th grade of above to participate. Come join us for a wonderful morning! You don’t need to be a great artist to create great art! Contact Marilyn at 303-659-3443 to register. There is limited seating so please register by May 7th.

Annual Flower Sale

Spring is here and so is Zion’s annual flower sale! Join us on May 12^th and 13^th from 9am to 3pm in Zion’s parking lot. Come and see all of the wonderful bedding plants, baskets, pots and so much more! This is Mother’s Day weekend what a perfect way to show your mom how much you appreciate her.

Volunteer Appreciation Day

Zion Lutheran School would like to invite all parents who have helped volunteer their time at our school to join us at Chapel on Wednesday, April 18 at 8:15am.

Mr. Brewer will be leading Chapel and would like to recognize and honor our parents who have given of their time to help our school thrive!  If you helped in the classroom, office, kitchen, library, PTL or in any other way, please join us so that we can say “thank you” to all of you!  After Chapel, we will have refreshments in the Fellowship Hall.

• 1:30pm Dress Rehearsal for the students of Zion
• 6:30pm Talent Show

Practice for the talent show will be this Thursday, April 12, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
