In the state of Colorado public schools assess their student’s academic progress using the CSAP test. CSAP test is a statewide progress report of student achievement.
Zion Lutheran School uses the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) test. These tests are taken by students all across the United States. In essence Zion students are being compared to other students nationally, not just in Colorado.
How has Zion Lutheran (students) tested nationally over the past several years?
You will be pleased to note that students of Zion Lutheran in grades 2-8 over the past 5 years have had an average complete battery (all subjects tested) score of 90. A score of 90 simply means that Zion students (on average) are in the top 10% of the nation academically.
Sending your child to Zion Lutheran School is truly an investment in your child’s education. If you have questions about our program, please speak with me in the school office.
