The Green Lion Club ~ Zion’s own environmentally friendly club!
Here at Zion we feel it is our responsibility to preserve this gift (the Earth) that God has given us. We will be working to protect and clean up our planet with such things as recycling and planting native plant life. We will be learning about different ways to help our planet last longer.
The plan is to participate in field trips, guest speakers and projects that help us all be more ‘Green”. This is new club so we will be creating the plan as we go along. We are open to ideas and looking for more ways to get involved with the environment.
The Green Lion Club will meet weekly on Fridays from 3:15 – 4:15 in Miss Hueske’s classroom.
